Marylanders should define justice, not corporate lobbyists.
Trust Maryland citizen juries with the outcomes of court cases including death or life-altering injury, not politically-imposed caps on justice.
Many years ago, the Maryland General Assembly lowered the cap for medical malpractice lawsuits more than any other negligence claims.
This means pain and suffering are worth less in Maryland if the injuries or death are from malpractice or other wrongdoing by doctors, hospitals, nursing home employees, dentists, chiropractors, or physical therapists.
Our legislature should repeal limits on the rights of a Maryland citizen jury to decide fairness in cases of death or life-altering injury. Take action with the Maryland Accountability Alliance.
